United States Representative Nancy Mace, a Republican from South Carolina who was also a rape victim at the age of 16 drew major controversy by becoming the first rape victim in U.S. American history to publicly endorse former U.S. President Donald Trump a man who was found liable for rape by a jury in a case where E. Jean Carroll was sexually abused by the former 45th President of the United States.
But the major controversy of Nancy Mace's endorsement was confronted last Sunday, March 10, 2024, on the ABC News Sunday morning program This Week With George Stephanopoulos where he asked the Representative. “Why would she support a man who has been convicted for not just rape but 91 other counts.” She responded by accusing Stephanopoulos of shaming her for the decision to support the 45th President and also accusing him of bullying her for her decision.
Well as always here's my personal opinion on her interview. First of all, how dare this woman, “a rape victim or not,” to even go out and publicly support and endorse a man who has publicly on thousands of occasions disrespected women from calling Hillary Clinton crooked to calling Omarosa Manigault a Youngstown, Ohio native and a contestant on his former show "wacky" and "vicious but not smart."
Let’s not forget when he told reporter Bill Bush, “to grab them by the you know what.”
We live in a society where it seems okay to turn a blind eye. Still, you know what, you can't turn a blind eye to everything especially a man who not only disrespects women but a man who gave radio shock jock Howard Stern permission to disrespect his daughter Ivanka when Stern asked him. I quote "Is it okay if I can call your daughter a piece of ass?"
This fool dared to tell him “YES.”
Now I'm not telling anyone who they should vote for. Nor anyone that is a rape victim, a parent, or a children's advocate that you can't support a man who not only disrespects women, especially his very own daughter it’s ok to support him.
With that my friend that is REAL TALK! This is Brother Blondie saying, “ALL BLACK LIVES MATTER.”
